Hitch
-
U-Joint design with Caterpillar replacement parts. (3-1/2" pins for long life)

Hitch allows 45 degree side to side rotation, 90 degree turns, and 27 degree uphill/downhill movement.

Hitches are available for Challenger MT800 series and CAT D6R thru D9R.

Tongue
-
Top & Sides are 1/2" thick structural plate.

Bottom plate is 1/2" thick Hardox 450.

1/2" Hardox is 3 times stronger than 1/2" mild plate.

Straight line design transfers maximum force to cutting edge.
Hydraulics
-
Hydraulic hose, cylinders, o-ring face seals and steel lines are rated at 4,000 psi working pressure.

Hydraulic system relief valve pressure is set at 2,800 psi.
-
Hydraulic components working pressure is rated 43% higher than hydraulic system relief pressure.
Bowl Lift
-
Unique bowl "center lift" design places the hydraulic cylinders between the scraper tongue and the scraper bowl spreader tube. This eliminates the need for scraper draft arms reducing weight and complexity.

5" bowl lift cylinders use the head end, not the rod end, for maximum hydraulic power to lift heavy loads.
Bowl
-
The scraper bowl interior sidewall is constructed of 1/4" Hardox steel.

The exterior sidewall forms a six cell box section using L shaped T1 steel.
-
Front end of outside wall is plated with 3/8" Hardox 400.
Cutting Edge
-
Durable reversible cutting edges are interchangeable with CAT 621 and 623 scraper parts.

Cutting edges are angled 30 degrees providing optimum loading performance in all types of materials.

Scraper fog has additional Hardox supports to maintain structural integrity.
Apron
-
Face constructed of Hardox 400.
-
Sides are 1/2" Hardox 400.
-
Bottom of apron cell structure uses weld on grouser bar stock for longer wear life.

Apron opens 63" for fast dump speed.
Ejector
-
Positive bulldozer ejector extends 4" beyond the front edge of the scraper floor providing a clean sweep of all materials.

The ejector weight is carried on steel rollers, which are interchangeable with Caterpillar scraper parts.

The ejector is supported at the sides and rear by hard plastic (UHMW)
Floor
-
The scraper floor is a box section design using 1/4" Hardox 400 plate.
-
The floor frame uses 3" tubing and angles.
-
Scraper floor is 100% welded to the fog area to maximize floor strength.
Rear Frame
-
Truss design using structural tubing for maximum strength.
-
Push block constructed of Hardox plate.
-
Pull hooks are standard CAT 621 scraper parts.

Wheel hubs and spindles are 615 off the shelf parts. Including bearings and Duocone seals.
Please Note: Brake Systems are optional on the E-17 and come standard on the
E-22 scrapers.
